How do I even start? Naria Girls has to be the worst anime I had to endure for 12 episodes (in order to give the full review), hoping it would at least be a little better than the previous episode. Just in Episode 1, everyone was right, though I didn't not believe the negative reviews in the first place. I wanted to see for myself. Unsurprisingly, it sucked. Episode 1 was a flop. The animation was absolutely terrible (poor CGI which is used for almost the entire show, except these drawn panned pictures that are used when the studio gets too lazy, as if they already were not being lazy). The characters walked like crabs and the poorly timed dialogue kept overlapping one another, making the girls talk over each other. Unfunny jokes that I didn't even laugh at once. Poor magical girl transformation scenes that were so lazy, to the point where they literally changed into the exact outfit they were always wearing. Actually, they didn't even change outfits at all. The eyes look lifeless and so does everything. I was so happy when this show was finally over. Please don't be like the curious souls who expected it to be slightly better. If you're using Crunchyroll, don't trust the positive reviews. No, I am going to take the show seriously, unlike what the positive reviews said. I simply do not get how three poorly animated CGI girls talking over each other and walking like crabs who don't change outfits when transforming can be funny and entertaining. Crunchyroll reviews are generally more inflated anyway, even if the show is dogwater, therefore making the shows on there look better than they actually are. Please don't trust the good reviews and have a nice day

Overall, this show was much better than its reputation, considering it is rated an average of around 60 percent on myanimelist. I would probably watch this again, although there were some drawbacks that made me rate this only four stars. One thing that definitely needed to be fixed was the horrid animation. The terrible drawing was inconsistent in almost every episode. The art style was quite nice, and this was present only in the movie. The pretty cure's outfits were drawn inconsistent as well, and some outfits were mixed up with the accessories of the other cures. For example, Cure Honey (the yellow) once had Cure Lovely's (the pink) earrings, and there were frequent scenes with errors and mis colorations of some accessories. Another thing I would like to note would be the fact that this anime is a toy factory!! EVERY episode before the last five featured pre-cards, this card system the cures would use to transform into different outfits and such. Different pre-card sets were present almost every episode, usually at the beginning. In addition, there were a lot more items in this season than others, with different weapons for the two new cures (the yellow and purple), 2 form changes for each cure (outfits the cures could transform into that are based off of international dances such as hiphop and ballet), many other forms (ahem... innocent form.. *cough*). It's no wonder the succeeding season (Go Princess precure) had such good fight scenes.. the money earned from HapCha was so high from all the merchandise! The characters were not very good, and we don't even get any info about Cure Honey other than her family. Her character was overly perfect and it was so annoying to watch. Cure Lovely was kind of like her, but a little different, and Fortune (purple) was so mean to Cure princess (blue) for something she didn't mean to do. You will see this later however. Cure princess was the only nice and fully developed character, as it shows her from a bratty princess to a pretty nice and helpful girl overtime. Her design was definitely my favorite. So overall, I a going to be nice and rate a 4/5, but definitely a 7/10 if I could. It's nice and I would likely watch again, but the flaws can be bad at times. I think anyone who is willing to bear these could like this show better than I did lol.
