Given Trump's success in this election, and given the prospect of another four years of him in office, it would be a very good time for everyone from college teachers to book clubs to church study groups to pick up this book. I read it in college in the 1970s. The findings were shocking and controversial -- but I think the frightening truth that humans are drawn to authority figures and willing to serve them to the detriment of others is still true.
