Sriram Raghavan loses his way, literally loses the plot despite having an extremely talented ensemble of actors. The only reason explaining the popularity of this film is an audience unschooled and lacking appreciation for good cinema.Of course it goes without saying that the press gushing about this film, without substantiation suggests purchase of praise. This is a very very poor offering.

Adam Mackay, never in the history of 21 century cinema have I see so much star power do so little for so many, thanks to a this film being one long skit rather than a nuanced screenplay, Yes it does get laughs for the inherent farce of the subject but it would have got that even it was a documentary! What wasted talent and what wasted opportunity

This film is a feast to satiate the senses. It can only be described as a sumptuous film celebrating the egalitarianism of food, with every frame a painting. The film stays away from polemics focusing on the pleasure of preparing and enjoying food.

Ridley Scott has reduced himself to the floor supervisor engaged in assembly line film making, where the actors seem to be performing in different films within the same film. Of course Ridley invariably gets away Scottfree because of the production value he brings to his projects... at the cost of heart and soul.

Apart for serving as a vehicle for Jessica Chastain's thespian skills this film is a wasted opportunity to delve deep into the televangelism phenomenon in the US. It lacks meat on the bone.

Pure suffering! How on earth did Dillon.and Caviziel.agree to act with such a poorly crafted script made worse by hamming for performances and poor casting. You don't need to make a beautiful location look more beautiful with ill conceived cinematography.. An eminently forgettable movie!

Paul Verhoeven does a very good job directing this gripping biographical drama.I'm certain it must have raised the hackles of many a believer with the depiction of the visions

This is an absolute gem of a film, with so much subtext, layering and narrative surprise that it leaves you satiated and shocked at the same time.

Nuanced like a John Le Carre novel except this is all true. Hollywood has a lot to learn from South Korean cinema, which consistently produces outstanding films..and Spy Gone North is no exception. Most importantly it elucidates how expensive diplomacy can be for some and that peace can be nasty business!
