I read this book as a first time book reader so I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for the first time readers as well because it has trigger warnings and mature themes. However, even though this book had so much trauma overall I liked the book and this book really made me thing about the themes in a deep more profound way it’s almost like you are the character and you’re going through it yourself. I thought that depiction of rape was perfect considering I have only watched movies related to it not read anything about it for some time not planning to. Besides that the book had some characters who were just so wholesome. During the junior and sophomore year it was very nice very teen drama and all but things were serious during first and last part. Personally I wanted a more depiction of what happened to Kevin during his childhood not that it would made difference to his heinous acts but know more about his background. But on the other hand Eden’s character was perfectly depicted and and her friendship’s essence was captured marvellously. I would 10/10 recommend it.
