I really, really enjoyed this movie. I'm of a (ahem!) "certain age" so this movie portrays history that I lived through. I became a republican right around the time Reagan ran for president the first time. It was an exciting, idealistic time to be a republican. This movie is like a love letter to Ron and Nancy. So appropriate for a man of such high goals and love of our country. Nobody's perfect, of course, so I'm glad they showed some of the "warts." In light of the present condition of our country - in both parties - it harkened back to an earlier time, that while it was certainly not perfect, was a lot more civil and dignified in many ways. The movie was obviously made by writer, producer, director who loved Reagan and that colors the approach, but it was lovely seeing all the historic moments of his life and especially during his presidency - he lived out some of the most important points in the history of that time.
