LOVED!!!! Best of the remakes because at least this remake spins the story in a new, innovative way. Plus, I loved the visuals in the movie. I also loved the ending!! Beautiful, heartwarming movie. :)

I was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable this movie was! It is definitely being underrated. The message was great, and it wasn't another remake!!! Taking the perspective of the fairy godmother really brought a new element to the classic Disney movie. Obviously, it is a Disney movie and a fairytale, so there is always a happy ending. Also, I want to note I do not think this movie is an Enchanted ripoff as the premise is not the same. The main characters are different from Enchanted (i.e. there is not an evil step mother, no prince or princess), and it is not a musical. The similarity includes being set in the real world. While the main actresses look similar, Isla Fisher is the main actress in this movie rather than Amy Adams. Anyway, please consider watching. :)

The original animated movie is way better!!! It does not seem any more authentic than the original movie except the cast, who were amazing. I did feel that the main actress was a little dead pan but otherwise she did an okay job. The character addition I did enjoy was Xianniang. I thought that her character was amazing and fun to watch. Otherwise, the movie was just NOT fun!! The action scenes were okay but not great. They could have done much better. The pacing was also off. My fiance who likes the original movie could not even get through the movie and finish watching it. I did not enjoy this movie at all.
