Watched this years ago and recently on tv. A true reminder of the homelife then. An uneducated lad finds a topic interesting and does the research in to it. Good and bad teachers! Bullying all still true to life today.

Brilliant portrayal of the benefits system. People's lives totally misunderstood . When people become numbers they become a statistic for the government. Not all questions fit all people no flexibility!! Really loved how this captivated the system in a drama not too drawn out. Shame about the ending made me cry
