I was surprised reading some of the negative comments, trying to understand ppl's view. Can't really say I did. The book left an impression on me like no other, the ability to convey a fictional character's pain to another person/reader is so profound that it makes you depressed. And I believe to fully grasp the book you should feel that, as it is our human trait. A masterpiece.
