We watch Sunday Morning every week and usually enjoy it, however, David Wallaces piece upset us terribly. His article on the nuclear bomb was a great article until the last sentence. It explained in a perfectly reasonable manner, why the decision to use the bomb was made. However, the last sentence saying that the nuclear bomb was used only twice, three days apart and by the United States gave the world & the people of the US more ammunition to rant against the government and their decisions, especially those that have no clue about how and why decisions regarding war and military are made. You described all the horrors of the bomb which was totally unnecessary unless you also described the horrors of Pearl Harbor and the concentration camps that the Japanese had that mistreated & tortured their captives . You said you were glad this book was not about Trump, but it might as well been, you did as much damage to America with that last comment as he has done. SHAME ON YOU !
