Wow, first of all Disney if you pay for reviews, don’t have them start with …bla bla bla “watching Haunted Mansion and let me tell you” it’s almost a carbon copy of the others and ‘let me tell you’ it’s not creative, or believable. It’s a poorly written copy, much like this movie. I loved how funny the Eddie Murphy version was, I loved their singing and acting. This one however had no singing, it was not child friendly, and I didn’t laugh once. I’m actually surprised it’s considered a comedy. I thought the actors did fine with what they had to work with but the plot was terrible. Thankfully I didn’t watch this in a theater. Slightly disappointed nothing tried to attack Owen Wilson when he went into the fireplace like House on Haunted hill. Am I ever going to watch this again? No. Will I recommend this to anyone?
