Struggling to think of a more captivating series. Rich from every angle...plot and character development, production values, quality of acting, music...the intro sets the scene perfectly with the vulgarly overindulged kids, the foreboding presence of the patriarch and the off pitch pianos building and crashing. Dark but comical at the same time, the grotesque characters are utterly convincing - testament to the quality of writing and acting. It ebbs and flows, and surprises at every turn. I agree, not one to binge watch - much better taken at a slow pace to truly appreciate the detail and density of the production. Enjoy...
