Took a few episodes to “get it,” but it is very fun and sometimes quite somber. Love the acting. The Mom is soooo good as is Emily. Highly recommend

Tobias Menzies is a very gifted versatile actor. Watching him play Edwin Stanton, I found myself actually feeling very sorry for him suffering from chronic asthma. Never did I imagine I could feel sorry for the evil villain , Black Jack Randall from “Outlander!” Mr. Menzies is a profoundly realistic Secretary of War. This actor becomes the character. His resume is outstanding. From now on I will watch everything he ever does. Manhunt is quite an authentic & factual account of the search for John Wilkes Booth, played by the truly gifted actor, Anthony Boyle. Two of my newly favorite actors help move this series to the possible top award recipients for the Emmy Awards as well as the Globes. Well done!!!
