Jones doesn’t even let you get through the dedication without hitting you right in the feels. Which is appropriate considering i never thought i would find myself choked up and almost in tears at various points throughout this entire Indian Lake trilogy.
Jade is as passionate, loyal, courageous, and heroic as ever in this final installment, which, true to the rules of any trilogy is the biggest (and most gory) of the three. There is a LOT going on simultaneously, but not too much that the reader is unable to follow along.
I’m giving myself a few days and then re-reading it as I did the previous two installments. I’m sure I’ll read these three books several times for the rest of my life. It’s hard saying goodbye to Jade Daniels and the town of Proofrock.
