The child in me was reawakened. All the references, the characters, the art style, everything was beautiful. Don't judge this movie based on if it was good or not but rather if it was able to punch you right in the nostalgia and transport you to a time when you were once a kid. My only complaint. They really need to ease up on the real life music. There are too many mario tracks to choose from to not have the whole movie feature only mario music. Hopefully the future mario movies correct themselves on this and take advantage of all the tracks at their disposal. I wanna hear some dolphin shoals, delphino island and other amazing tracks from the games.
