Absolutely, unbelievably awful. The acting was b movie standard. Imagine any good reviews are to convince themselves they learnt a lesson from it but dam the acting was poor. A better cast may have saved this.

I just cannot understand why 'critics' underplay this film. It is fresh and the acting is superb. Phoenix frustrates you and twists you in a superb role as Joker. Watch it is a must.
