Gorgeous production and strong acting…but such an inconsequential plot. A major scene involving the near murder and evisceration of Poe is utterly disregarded in the resolution of the mystery. Sorry guys…this is pretty lazy plotting and leads to an extremely unsatisfying conclusion. Cheap shot.
