it’s a good story, but i doubt it’s true. some details don’t add up with the time person (for example, this takes place in the late 80s & she mentions not having a phone like it was strange for the time period). i’m around kids a lot and her descriptions of teenage her are closer to the maturity level of a 10 year old. and the way the police & doctors acted is completely unbelievable. she was very clearly being abused & they made no effort to help her
