The team of 2 Canadians and an American make for a lively and savvy mix when tripping around to restaurants in peril across the world. Their innovative ideas truly make a lasting difference. They encourage all things local to create a real change for the owners. There are 2 Canadian sites - the Okanagan Valley, BC, and Tobermory, Ontario. My only criticism is in the Tobermory episode they didn't encourage Coconut Joe's to try a truly Lakehead theme. As they emphasized time and again, it's the local food and culture that brings in both tourists and locals, so what's with pink flamingoes and banana leaf cooking in this environment. Too many times Canadians attempt to copy another southern culture that just feels foreign to visitors.
