This is a dramatic historical fiction. Don't go looking for facts, per se, but dramatic arcs and the accurate portrayal of the original flaws of British settlement of the "New World": ambition, greed, misogyny, religious hate, slavery, indenture, colonialism, violence, squalor, mud. But it is good television and definitely worth watching.
