I liked the characters of Joe, Marybeth, Bud, Missy nailed it. But.. Nate is not, was not, never would be.. Black. Nothing in the series worked with Nate as a Black actor. This was obviously a nod to the Hollywood casting demons. I’m sorry the series won’t be on tv cause I love love love the stories. But I’m glad the author refused. This production was just wrong for these stories, and for him. Hopefully someone sensible will pick it up.

Sorry. I wanted to like this but it is beyond ignorant. I can’t believe these two very fine actors stood still for it. Please stop the bleeding, it is too awful.
