As a huge fan of the original, this movie shares nothing if just the title of the movie. This is not something where I am too hooked on the first movie, I was hoping this would give a new pulse to the franchise.. unfortunately.. the story is sh*t, there is no connection to the characters, the music which drove the first one from scene to scene is gone as they replaced it with some of the worst tracks imaginable. As if they had no clue how to march pace with music.. They just removed everything that made us love that movie, Draven, his reason into being.. Lee brought a soul to the character and the writing gave us his humanity behind the story.. This isn’t the case here. We just don’t really care about any of them. Takes forever to get to the point of the story, and once it finally starts, it’s a big « Meh… » I’ll be suprised if they break even …..
