Honestly, at this point, I’m a little mad at Mass. There’s something about her storytelling that turns me off of other books. After finishing the last page of each of her installments, I find myself unable to pick up a new book. Nothing seems appealing after the heartbreak of finishing the last page. 10/10. House of Sky and Breath had me glued to the pages for every available second start to finish. A little too heavy on the smut for my vanilla tastes, a few spots had me worried about someone looking over my shoulder and catching me in the middle of word porn. It’s not too excessive, but noticeably more X rated than Maas’ other works. *Minor Spoilers Below* Slightly disappointed in the plot revolving around Sofie/Emile. It was comparable to the Kristallos/Lunas Horn events in the first book, but lacking the same level of significance. You won’t get the same Micah slaying, tear jerking Danika and Bryce moment before battling demons from Hel ending, but if you were a fan of ACOTAR, then you will certainly love the final page pre-epilogue!
