Deanna Barnhardt Kawatski

I've only watched two seasons of this series so far but I've discovered that it has more heart than most series that I have ever seen. The characters are endearing, the situations are true to life, and it captures a period of time before the pill, when women had little choice but to face pregnancy after pregnancy. The support the midwives gave the expectant mothers was superior to anything in the current world. It has made me laugh and cry and ponder many things. Bravo!
