Salaar (Movie Review)
Interesting, action-packed story line which may keep you glued to your seat if you go without any expectations. Not for KGF die hard fans as Salaar grows on viewer through the narrative knitted together around action sequences, which are more style packed action than down to earth violence...so the A certificate by censors on account of violent scenes doesn't make much sense. The kind of axing and shooting you find in the movie is already present in popular games and movies. The narration has set the stage for part 2, Prabhas and Prithviraj has performed really well...The atmosphere of the movie is dark, set in a violent world (which is actually all the world nowadays in reality :) )
My Twelve year old son asked me, "Is this the violence you told me to be mentally prepared to watch, the A certificate movie for violence?? I watch stuff like this in TV most of the time!!"
4 stars for the world of Salaar...1 star reduced because violence appears to be it's own purpose to live in salaar world!
