A good watch on a fascinating subject.
Still lots of questions unanswered. Never got a solid reason from the citizens of Antelope over why they initially hated the rajneeshes besides "they were different".
Yes cults are bad and as the documentary unraveled you saw how depraved and villainous Sheela and her close squad of lieutenants were but its fascinating how that wink nod discussion of "who *really* belongs in this country" and what the only "acceptable" religion is and always will be a hot button issue.
That being said as history will always show, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Sheela is a interesting character because she is a cross between Jim Jones and Hitler but in the unconventional package of a petite, squeaky voiced Indian woman.
The feats to which this lady crosses are so comically large that it will keep you entertained and pique your curiosity for hours. Liked hearing from former culture members and from the citizens of Antelope but I feel like the rajneeshes got a better handle of being given the sympathetic light. The citizens I merely tolerated because they didn't give any good arguments for their biases.
