This film is undoubtedly exceptional; the animation is truly wonderful and mind-blowing. How such a masterpiece of a feature film could even exist astounds me. It completely redefines the term and goes against what a movie and cinema are. Every moment in the narrative gripped me, it was emotional and compelling, the struggle was simply amazing, and the dialogue was clear and easy to understand. and is just jam-packed with amazing characters and jaw-droppingly clever narrative turns. Foodfight piques your curiosity because the narrative is vague and open to interpretation. In terms of ambiguity, it's almost as brilliant as Stanley Kubrick's The Shining. Now, Mr. Clipboard, the antagonist, is unquestionably one of the greatest villains in movies; he perfectly captures what a villain is SUPPOSED to be. It demonstrates how horrible and cruel he is, yet I can relate to his suffering on a deeper, more subliminal level because of my ability to sympathize with him. I was definitely on the edge of my seat throughout the whole Dex and his wife's disappearance battle, expecting for each scene to come as a surprise, and sure enough, it did. Yes, it did. I like the ingenuity and inventiveness of this cinematic masterpiece; it's undoubtedly the animation of the century, rivaling Mickey Mouse in popularity.
