I don't know why so much hate is being thrown at the movie. It's ACTUALLY an AWESOME movie. It has LJP's classic style of direction - slow paced, technically brilliant, iconic shots etc. It has the same style of story telling just like Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam, Churuli & Jallikattu. But it is less complicated compared to those movies. It's a straight forward story which is told just like how a fiction/ fantasy drama (play) plays out. And that is exactly the genre of the movie. Excellently directed, well paced (for the story it says), brilliant music. Hats off to the entire technical team. Especially the choreographers, art department, editors, camera etc. The colour tones and frames in so many shots were just awesome. And then of course, the performance of every Malayali's pride, our very own Lalettan!!! He just nailed it and showed why he is one of the best superstars, if not the best, in the country. His flexibility, stunts, acting and everything he did in the movie was just exceptional. Screen presence, as usual, was just something else. And he was supported perfectly by a great cast. Awesome performances by Harish Peradi & Danish Sait. So in case all the hate is being spewed against the film by Mammookka's fans, then come on guys!! Please don't degrage a great movie just cos it is by another superstar. Yes, I do agree that this movie is not everybody's cup of tea. It's not an out and out mass entertainer like Lucifer or Narasimham or Ravanaprabhu. But if you wish to catch an excellently made movie with exceptional performances and simply mindblowing technical brilliance, then this movie is a MUST WATCH!
