When I read this book I lived near the Mastodon State park. The title was probably why I chose the book, lucky me. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and think about the book anytime I drive past the park. It’s been over a decade since I read the book, and yet I took the time to write a positive review…….that alone should be enough to make you give it a try.
