Some very powerful examples of character development and insight in human motivation but ultimately too long and with far too much information on minor characters. I felt frustrated and manipulated by the protracted ending with the main characters individually and simultaneously gathering a sense of hope about the future , rebuilding their familial connections, with the tension of a potential tragedy looming . And there the story ends !

I was deeply disappointed after all the hype. I found it lacked any sense of cohesion, agitating in the level of visual stimulation and very immature in the sappiness of it’s struggle to find some redeeming message about the importance and difficulty of intimate relationship. And heavy handed in it’s attempt to drive home the moral message of losing vital contact with others when we become too preoccupied with the distracting busyness of frantic living. With so many great movies presently out there and so many important issues to explore during these troubling times I don’t think “Everything……” even effords a worthy distraction.
