I highly recommend this game to everyone, it's handling of issues such as mental health issues and the inevitability of death is amazing and left me speechless. The game starts with pepsiman being sent to jail for murder in the 2nd degree. After being escorted to his cell he starts to reflect on what happened. The game is a top down fighting game in which pepsiman is a feared opponent in an underground fighting ring, in which he is the champion, but he loses his belt while fighting an opponent and breaks part of his neck, leaving him with partial paralysis and being hospitalized. Once out of the hospital and no longer able to fight, pepsiman becomes a vagrant, hopping from town to town trying to find jobs. After a late night shift he is kidnapped and tortured for fun. He's forced to drink 3 gallons of coca cola, which causes intestinal damage. One day, when they go to torture him by branding him, they drop what they were going to use onto the ropes binding him, lighting them on fire and setting him free. Pepsiman beats his captors to death and leaves to go to the hospital, again. After being released he goes to a diner to celebrate his recovery, but he spots a can of coca cola which triggers his ptsd, making him shoot a waiter who he thought was one of his captors. Soon after, he turns himself in The game ends with guards escorting him to be killed via lethal injection, with pepsiman not resisting and only smiling.
