Another great novel written by the incredibly talented, Nora Roberts! The first chapter of the book dove right into darkness but did not drang on and on for chapters at a time, seeing as how 11 year old heroic Naomi Bowes, rescues a victim and puts away her kidnapper. Naomi spends the next several years running from her past and avoiding any spotlight that would connect her to the gruesome murders some 17 years ago. Unfortunately for her, no matter how far away she moves her past will always be present. A new killer is on the prowl and has an interest in killing women who look like Naomi. She soon learns that she can either continue to run from her past or accept it and not let it define who she has always been.
