(Spoilers a little) It was a bad movie. I loved the first but this was a huge letdown. The original movie was good because it was creative and a new idea. This one felt cheep, turning it into a romcom almost. And two villains but both of them do nothing basically. One of the villains didn’t do anything relating to the plot at all and then made her seem super powerful just to have her killed in a dumb unimportant way. They could’ve went into more detail on Jenna Ortega’s character or even the dude she was into. He’s got just a boring backstory and he has no motivation. They say he killed his parents but why did he do that? And if he’s a murderer if he lives again what’s he gonna do? Is he gonna kill people is he just wanting a redo? Just a bad movie and all the characters motivation is bad or not explained. A movie with A list everything and they wasted it. Like wow this movie was meant to be iconic and it is bad. In a year nobody is gonna remember this movie and I’m disappointed in Tim Burton.
