I’ll start off saying this is the first Metroid game I’ve ever played, and while it was fantastic, there are some things that need to be said. There are only around 4 or 5 unique bosses in the game, and the rest are recycled a few times each. Another glaring problem I had with this game was how it would abruptly jump in difficulty at times. Some of the bosses were stupid hard, seemingly out of nowhere, and it just came across as lazy, artificial, and extremely frustrating. However everything else, from the music to the awesome E.M.M.I encounters was fantastic, and if you can overlook the blatant cut corners and massive jumps in difficulty, this game is 100% worth a play! (I would recommend 100% completing this game. It makes the final boss much easier and it’s honestly worth it.)
