This 2023 version of the show is formulaic and boring. Gone is the old Gordon where he would yell and insult people for their disgusting operational practices. Now he's generally a kinder, gentler, more understanding woke Gordon. Maybe people like this side of him. I find his new approach tiring.
I predict that many of the restaurants he saves on this series will eventually go under because they don't deserve to be in business.
