Although I find this book compelling and entertaining and I will definitely read the rest, but in the first 100 pages I already find a couple of errors by the author. No one said “that sucks” in 1969 and also there is a reference made to Cosmopolitan magazine which didn’t exist until 1986. Otherwise I enjoy the character development of all the characters and the description of the islands and the news at the time. Other then those couple mistakes it’s pretty convincingly 1969.
