Raised in Queens and attended high school with Ray Romano, I had to see this film. Never felt I was watching actors, a typical Italian family in Queens was portrayed, while a truly beautiful story about the love of parents for their child, unspoken struggles of adults and teens, family dynamics, and life in general was told in a wonderful way, drawing you into this family's world. Simple, yet said so much. Loved it!!

Even if you haven't heard of Celeste Barber in the US, you will enjoy her Netflix series. If you have been following her as I have and have learned to love her, you will enjoy it even more. I had no idea Celeste Barbara could act! The show documents her as she tries to get back into the United States after losing her green card in Australia and reveals all her self-destructive behavior and eventually the reason for it. Cliff hanger in the last episode which left me eager for season 2!
