Disappointing. It certainly is colourful and Margot Robbie is great. However some of the acting is questionable, there’s little to no character introduction or arcs. Some of the story is incomprehensible. It’s flat for much of the film and the humour is lacking.
McGregor is not convincing as a bad guy whilst the director makes Wanstead look an amateur actress. She could have been so much more.
It’s a shame because I thought this could be really fun. I think the overall direction is what let’s it down.
