Season 5 of The Last Kingdom was a satisfying conclusion to a simply wonderful story. I enjoyed it immensely. The cinematography was beyond excellent especially scenes of the most heartbreaking death. (no spoilers).
The writers add very believable humanity to history.
Better than Game of Thrones. I'm considering watching the whole lot again, from series 1
