What a waste of time ! and money! It looks great and i liked the music and atmosphere very much…But the whole series is misleading. It’s full of various “mysteries” that you think will eventually make sense- but this is some of the laziest sci-fi writing that has ever been produced on such a large scale to so much hype. It’s basically like when young kids start story writing and cant figure out how to end things- and finish off with “ She suddenly woke up and found it was all a dream …”. Worked for Alice in Wonderland, but for 1899 this is a massive let down , an utter failure of the imagination! So sorry that i wasted my time with n this ..

This film was so bad in every way! I can't believe I wasted my time watching this garbage. Warning to all potential victims: do not watch this. Do not be fooled by any positive reviews that try to paint this "dark" or "whimsical".... The filmmaker took an interesting concept and messed it up in style!
