I was introduced to this bit of history as a child via a time travel story. This adult version struck me as being very real. The time, place, costumes... I truly felt taken back in time. Chris Pine was exceptional. If I hadn't been aware that he played the role of the Bruce, I wouldn't have known. He was so much in character in manner, look, and voice. Anyone with an interest in this period of Scots history should see this film.
