Others have said it but the way it slowly plods along perfectly captures that 50s era, nothing dramatic here, it doesn’t need to be. Just a rather dull theme brought to life with what captures to be a very moving story. It’s eventually captivating and that’s the point, this man was a silent hero, I know a couple of people like this.
