A scenario we are very familiar with has been staged thousands of times. I didn't see anything new, creative or interesting. The movie would be dead if it weren't for Nicolas Cage's excellent acting. It's just a movie focused on making money. I still don't understand the ending of the movie. The monsters created as a result of mutation suddenly disappeared with an explosion. It's as if these monsters were created to gather in this house. At first I thought it was a prophecy affecting all humanity. It turns out that the mutated creatures just loved this small town. At the end of the movie, they got in the car and abandon the town, like a meaningless happy ending. If humanity could be saved by leaving the village, I don't understand why they chose to stay at the beginning. There are no details about the drug used. I've never seen such simple filmmaking in my life.
