Perhaps if this show was not created as a spin-off of the original Vikings show, I would not have been so disappointed. I went in expecting it to at least have some of the same spark as the original. Before getting halfway through the first episode I realized it does not even come close. I decided to ignore the stupidity of the wokeness factor and continued to watch each episode. I found the acting to be well done and I will admit there were some enjoyable moments. However, I highly doubt that I will be patiently waiting for a season 2.
