Fantastico!!
This is unlike any other kdrama, but with all the kdrama elements. It's got some funny stereotyping, yes, but I think they capture the nature of an Italian very well within Vincenzo. A breathtaking plot, you will be hungry for more episodes and won't be able to stop. I've heard from friends it feels corny to them, and yes I agree. The first few episodes are so out there and far from reality. I mean, come on. Italian mafia? But nevertheless, this is a kdrama. Corny, cheesy, and quirky are qualities that are embraced. And embrace, you will! The more you delve deep, the more you relate to the characters and understand their emotions. The plot becomes thick and you will understand why there are elements of corniness embedded in. It's quite similar to how we cope with our own realities. Because their world is our world. The world crushes the meek and silences the righteous. Vincenzo is the dark anti hero you never knew you needed. Both in a show and in real life.
Now give me season 2 or else!!!!!
