Wish I could give it 0 stars!!! There is no story, no plot, no reason to make this other than to show 2 hours of the inhumane brutality that humans are capable of. I am not one that is put off by violence in movies when there is a reason. But, this movie IS the reason for the violence. It is a barrage of abuse and murder and utterly disgusting acceptance that we have of such behavior. There is no story that tells you what leads to civil war. No story telling you why people are fighting a civil war. Just endless hopelessness & brutality. Maybe that is their point, but it is pitiful. The acting is actually very good & I give credit to all of the cast for doing their job well. My problem is in the writing or lack thereof. There is NO story!!!! No reason to make this!!!! In the end I was left feeling extremely angry & unsettled. Again, perhaps that is what they were aiming for, but I would never recommend watching something that just makes you angry & unhappy for the sake of making you feel those negative emotions.
