I had high expectations for this series and I'm not disappointed! The casting was great, the special effects, the acting, set design, nearly everything is perfect! I would have appreciated a more book-accurate adaptation but all things considered this is a very good show. I'm a little sad that some of the iconic parts of the book that were changed or not incorporated. Like the hellhound, the bus explosion, the pink poodle, small stuff like that. I do think the extra details added in the third episode did add some life to it. The consensus song was a great addition, and the argument scene near the end of the episode was well written too.
