Overblown bombastic predictable movie whose terrible script can’t be saved by great art design and photography. This film really is a mess story wise so I’m surprised it isn’t being called out more. Are we prepared to tolerate this kind of substandard indulgent storytelling because it’s long and expensive, what clueless studio exec gave Gareth Edwards a blank cheque?
