This was one of the better Pixar/Disney movies. I have studied Disney and Animation in depth, and from my knowledge, this was pretty impressive. I know most of the reviews are 1 star, but I don’t understand how someone could have that bad of a reaction to Lightyear. First of all, the animation was amazing, it has come so far since the first Toy Story. Next, the plot was great, I thought the twists and turns of the story really kept me on the edge of my seat. I never knew what would happen next, and it was great. What I thought was the best though, was that they added a lesbian character, and that when Buzz was told that she was engaged, he immediately said “I can’t wait to meet her” recognizing that he respects LGBTQIA+ people. The characters also weren’t all white, it was nice to see everyone living in a place where there was no discrimination. I recommend seeing Lightyear in the movie theater, all of the effects look amazing on a big screen with speakers all around you. I hope you love Lightyear, like I did! 😊
