Absolute sensory overload, a mind boggling experience.

I’m old enough to remember the space race vividly from Sputnik onwards. Watching the film was a trip down memory lane, and all the better for the lack of intrusion by commentators and celebrity voice overs which , with intrusive music, ruin so many productions. A film such as this needs no added drama, real life as it really happened is more than enough to secure this epic event its rightful place in cinematic history

Boring, unconvincing, a typical click bait film, as in stuffJudi Dench in it and people will pay to see it, which was exactly why my wife wanted to see it.

Such an array of talent. When it first aired I ignored it on the assumption that it was written specifically for a female audience. How wrong I was! A classic of its genre greatly enjoyed by this septuagenarian codger.
