Anyone who hates this movie because of the women empowering message and matriarchal society that the setting displays… MISSED THE ENTIRE POINT OF THE MOVIE. The amount of one star reviews on this movie are from bitter people (almost entirely men) where the plot and point of the movie flew completely over their head. If I have the privilege of becoming a mother one day, I cannot WAIT to show this to my kids.
